On the whole Liam, your blog is of a generally high quality with good evidence of research into comparable products and into your audience. You have shown very good understanding of the codes an conventions of games packaging and I look forward to seeing your own designs completed. I do feel however that you might have gone into a little more detail on the industry section with maybe some information about the size of the gaming industry (it is massive and continuing to grow) and perhaps something about the structure of the industry and the nature of the companies (i.e part of a conglomerate). When you produce your own products, make sure that you focus upon original photography and that you manipulate your images so that you show design skills commensurate with the genre you have chosen to do.
